There ain’t no party like a Chanel party because a Chanel party is full of beautiful people with even a lot more beautiful handbags. As they do every year, Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld descended on the Tribeca film festival to host the Chanel artists Dinner, which celebrates Lagerfeld’s favorite people: actresses and other creatives, mostly (but not always) of the indie variety. This year, the party was held at Balthazar, and the arrivals photos were, as always, full of bags and clothes worthy of a Friday morning swoon-fest.
